On the eve of the new year, I find myself with no dinner reservations, but still a lot to be thankful for.
Here are a few of the things I’m thankful for in my writing world from 2012:
Hitting a ranking of #50 of all Kindle books with Rock and a Hard Place, and hitting a rank of #19 of all Kindle Books with Love ’em or Leave ’em!
Traveled to the PASIC Conference in NYC where I met some wonderful, generous authors and learned a ton. Oh, and I saw six Broadway shows, too.
Completed and published a novel, Snapshot, and a novella, Snowed Over.
Signed with an amazing agent, Jane Dystel of Dystel and Goderich Literary Agency.
Signed a four-book publishing contract with the fabulous Rosemary Brosnan of HarperCollins Books. Thanks, Rosemary! You’re the tops!
Attented the RT Booklovers Convention in Chicago, met tons of readers and had the time of my life.
Enjoyed a close-knit group of writers who support me everyday and helped this solitary occupation seem more like sorority party.
Traveled to Minneapolis to meet up with some of my favorite writer buds: Tracey Garvis-Graves, Abbi Glines, Laura Bradley-Rede, EL James, Colleen Hoover and Tamarra Weber.
